Speakers of the 1st Ibero-American Seminar on Plant Nutrition and members of the NGP lab with Eusebio Miranda.

After the 1st Ibero-American Seminar on Plant Nutrition, we visited UACh’s Estación Experimental Agropecuaria Austral (EEAA) in Cabo Blanco, where Eusebio Miranda gave us a tour of the history and contents of the Germplasm Bank collection.

The collection, started in 1958, comprises around 270 clones. Don Eusebio showed us a selection of native potatoes, as well as crosses of culinary interest produced at the station.
