We have a new biochemist in the lab! Congratulations to Juan Ignacio Garcinuño Gallardo, who successfully defended his undergraduate thesis and earned his degree in Biochemistry from Universidad Austral de Chile. His project, “Functional characterization of the heat shock transcription factor TaHSFB2B from Triticum aestivum in response to high-temperature stress in the model plant Arabidopsis thaliana”, was carried out in our lab under the supervision of Dr. Anita Arenas and Dr. Javier Canales.
Juan now joins our alumni, and of course he leaves with his official NGP Lab polo. Congratulations, Juan, and every success in your career! 🎓
